We know your guys back stories for the most part so we won't delve into that too much. Let's get started.......

Favorite former wrestler and current wrestler?:

John: Sting/ AJ Styles

Chad: Hulk Hogan / AJ Styles

You guys have been killing it since the very start of your show, what was vital to your start in the podcast biz?:

John: It was vital for us to stand out and be different. After hearing a lot of the other shows that are out there, we decided we wanted to be different. Nothing against those shows, but no one cares about people's opinions unless those people are Dave Meltzer, Steve Austin, Jim Ross, etc. So we decided to stick to just an interview based show where the only opinions that matter are the wrestlers opinions. That has been our biggest asset to standing out from the thousands of other podcasts out there.

Chad: After moving away from NJ and all of my fellow fans/friends I wanted an outlet to discuss the business. John and I had first discussed doing a review style show nearly a year prior but it didn't materialize. After trying just a generic style wrestling news show it was as simple as knowing there was definitely something there after we interviewed Nigel McGuinness as a test to see how we did outside of just talking to each other. We knew right away we were on to something. Also knowing not to make the show about John and my opinions gave us the ability to make the show a greater immediate source for credibility since we weren't just formulaically talking to and about the same stuff as everyone else.

What was the most memorable interview so far?:

John: Without a doubt the American Dream Dusty Rhodes. Looking back it was a very bittersweet interview as he passed only a few days later.

Chad: Hands down the final interview of Dusty Rhodes two days prior to his untimely death.

Who would you say is your biggest or best or HARDEST "get" (without hurting anyone's feelings out there)?:

John: Hardest is hard to say as there have been a lot of guests that weren't exactly easy to pin down. I would probably have to say Dean Ambrose as the WWE was nearly impossible to deal with. Best is a very long list but I'll narrow it down to a few: Dusty Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat, Buff Bagwell, Shane Douglas, Bruce Tharpe and Jesse Ventura.

Chad: Biggest: I have to say Kane because of how early in our run the interview took place. Best: Jacques Rougeau, Jesse Ventura, Buff Bagwell, Shane Douglas, Pete Gas, Bob Zmuda

Was there someone that stood out?:

John: Rene Dupree definitely comes to mind first. He is our first (and only at this point) 3 time guest and he delivers a great interview each time.

Chad: Rene Dupree's first appearance took me by surprise. Never knew we would be in for the absolute ride of a life time. His story has grown to be quite identifiable with our show.

Was there a particular guest or story that has surprised you?:

John: There was a few great stories from Pete Gas that definitely surprised me and a few from Teddy Long as well because they were so damn funny. Guest wise, I think Buff surprised us a little bit by how nice, humble and captivating he was.

Chad: Guest wise I never thought I would hear someone like Tully Blanchard or a Stan Hansen when we started. But also Kevin Thorn surprised me with how our relationship outside the show would and has developed. A great episode has turned into a huge opportunity for all three of us.

Also being apart of bringing the WWE Network royalty discussion to the forefront of mainstream wrestling media has been a very eye opening experience and has caused quite the discussion across multiple platforms of wrestling talk.

Tell us about the Patriot/Del Wilkes Documentary? Was that the TMPT and Power Trip Media's first venture?:

Chad: I defer to John for this....

John: The Patriot Del Wilkes documentary was a blast to be apart of. Michael Elliott from Ellbow Productions created the documentary is a great friend of the show. We knew we wanted to support this venture and being Executive Producer was the best way to do it. We have gotten very friendly with Del over time and have really enjoyed all of our interactions with him. The documentary is awesome and I was very happy we were able to make it into 3 discs. This was the first of many TMPT/ Power Trip Media ventures.

Is there any significance to your "shield" looking logo? (No WWE pun intended):

Chad: This was all John and Iron Skull Productions.

John: Jay Kay from Iron Skull Productions created it for us and we loved it. The shield over time has turned into a gimmick for us. We like to jokingly say we are the only podcast who wants to shield the fans from the other lazier podcasts who don't really know their wrestling history.

Anyone you guys are dying to have on? (Daniel Bryan Danielson?):

John: A few guys I would love to have on are Eric Bischoff, Daniel Bryan Danielson, Sting, and Jerry Lawler for sure.

Chad: Honestly, I look at it for guys that fit in with the show makeup. Guys like Rick Martel or Jerry Lawler would fit in so well with us. But how can you not go the obvious route and say Hulk Hogan.

How about a deceased guest you'd want? A guys that's passed away that would've been perfect for your show?:

John: I will say Rowdy Roddy Piper and Andre The Giant.

Chad: Hands down Roddy Piper.

Is there heat on between you guys and the Mouth of the South Shore? (Maybe that's a question for Chad):

John: Definitely a question for Chad. I remember MOTSS calling him a ''ham n egger."

Chad: I didn't even know the show still existed.

John, best Chad catchphrases or nicknames? (Feel free to include any I've missed):

Barc has bite. Barc or Bust. In Barc we trust. Better Call Barc. The Barclay Club. And of course CNC (the Chis and Chad Connection)
John: All of the above. And the Barcus of Boggo Road.

Who is the better tag team/partner: Chis with CNC or PTP with the TMPT?:

Chad: PTP

Chad what's John's best attribute?:

C: He is the carrier of the load for the bulk of the interviews. He is able to break down specific feuds/matches one by one and pay attention to all the intricate details. Also is in a class by himself as it pertains to guest bookings and relationship building. Very few shows have the historically significant guest list that we do and I only measure that against the "big shows."

John what's Chad's best attribute?:

J: Besides his voice, I would have to say the production of the show. Chad carries the show as far as pacing, putting it together, all the technology aspects of it, the music, and the editing. Going in I wasn't sure how we were going to put the package of the show together and Chad has masterfully put together each episode. All I have to mention his intros for the guests, I'd say at least half the guests say it's the best introduction they've ever gotten. Ricky Morton wanted to make Chad his personal announcer.

Who should we be on the look out for soon?:

John: I would be on the look out for some big time southern wrestlers that you haven't heard from in awhile. We are also looking into creating some different kind of shows to spice it up.

Chad: Our vault is stacked with a heavy memphis flavor and very soon we will have a few very prominent names from Memphis Wrestling published over the airwaves. Also look forward to more unique guests and possibly different formats and "special"episodes.

Thank you guys so much for your time and good luck. Continued success with the podcast and your other ventures inside the busniess.
